Practical tests for trades and hospitality, an English check, and interviews with your managers by video or in person in Kenya.

  • Medicals and documents

Passports, certificates of good conduct, medicals at clinics approved by the destination, and attestation where the country requires it.

  • Visa and travel coordination

We work with your visa team on applications, then confirm tickets and departure dates.

  • Pre-departure briefing

What it costs

Batches placed abroad are priced per project: a fixed fee per batch, with documentation included.

Candidates are never charged for our employer-paid roles. Their own official costs (such as a passport) are listed on every job before they apply.

Fee level: [to be confirmed by Urban Careers]; ask for a quote for your job order.

What we will and won’t do

  • We only recruit for job orders we can check, with salary and conditions in writing.
  • Visa decisions rest with the destination country. We prepare complete, accurate files to give every application its best chance.
  • We won’t ask candidates to pay for a job. If someone claims to collect fees for us, we want to know.

Who pays what, agreed in writing before we start

Every job we post shows candidates exactly what they pay, item by item. These are the usual cost lines; the split is agreed per project.
